Lets take a moment away from nails today and look at my new obsession.
So I was bored, looking at cute sushi on my phone... Sigh google can be such a great tool. And I started seeing all these cute shapes veggies and fruit and well I went to amazon and saw you could purchase these things. As you could imagine I was squealing like a little girl at the cuteness. So I sat back and thought oh I could make these low cal and work them into my new healthy lifestyle, plus get a smile from my lunch. What do you know there's tons of low cal recipes online. So I hurried off to Walmart and found a few staples to get me started in my healthy lunch, saving money lifestyle. I tell you what once i get my mind on something I have to follow thru and do it. I suppose there could be worse obsessions and addictions.
So I made a deal with my logical side. Before I go and purchase that 30 dollar hello kitty bento box. I would go and see If I would purchase my lunch before hand and pack it. So I found my beginer bento box at walmart for 3.97. As well as a 74.4 oz bottle for my water. ( I've been purchasing 33.3 oz bottles everyday, I know so bad for the environment). I also found some ice Cube trays on sale for .50 cents each what a cute fun find!
Once I get a grasp on this I may start adding what's for lunch :)

Clean them cuticles up!
So I realized... I'm messy somewhat when it comes to getting a smooth cuticle mainly when I'm painting with my non dominate hand, btw I'm totally a lefty. So of course the hand that I end up showing is my left hand because my accent finger is on that. So time to shape up and work on smooth lines. So at first I was using a rose wood stick and that just wasn't smooth enough, and then I use an OPI acrylic brush from beauty school, the bristles weren't stiff enough. So I was digging thru a make up bag and found a brush stuffed away in a corner. I used it maybe twice being it's a concealed brush and I normally don't wear concealer. So I figure I'd give it a try. To my surprise it worked very well.
The bristles are firm enough to not fan out as you glide it a long the cuticles. I've read a lot people wait till the polish is dry but I find that it's easier for me to clean up right after I polish, my skin soaks up the color other wise. Despite my middle finger the cuticle is slighted thicker there and I have some work to do on softening those up.
Here's the mani plus the brush used

Opi sale!!
So I mentioned I did hair in my last post? Aye. Well I work for a corporately owed salon ( Aka I work for Regis they own everything) well one of the promotions is OPI is on sale at 6.50. Now I don't know if all salons carry opi, or if they are having this sale but its worth a try to see if you can get this 2 dollar discount.
Here's a list of Regis owned salons to see if you have one in your area
Carlton Hair International in Southern California, Images Salon in Las Vegas, NV, Michael of the Carlyle in Colorado Springs, and Denver, CO City Looks, Famous Hair, Best Cuts, Saturday's, HCUK, Supercuts, Pro-Cuts, Hair Crafters, Magicuts, MasterCuts, Borics Hair, Hair by Stewarts, SmartStyle, Cost Cutters, TGF Hair Salon, Hair Masters, Style America, Holiday Hair, and Mia & Maxx Hair Studio
ALSO!! At our salon we had this cute set of mini OPI: the best of the best. I avoided purchasing cause it's a price tag of 24.95 but it has been clearanced out as a buy one get two free, so I went halfsies with a friend and we each got one for 12, not a bad deal. Now I'm sure specials vary by location and may or may not be available everywhere but it's worth a try to see if it's available.
And here's the mini mini haul :3

It's only a mile
So im late getting on the beauty blog train but I'm so on in. I'm not even sure if it will be 100% beauty blog because I have way too Many hobbies to focus on one thing. Im not going to reveal all at once cause well what's the point without a little suspense. Just to let you grammar nazis know I will have run on sentences and this blog will be posted from my lovely iPhone so there won't be a pretty layout atleast till I get to a computer, but don't worry I'll still have run on sentences.
So we'll start with today. I met up with a friend; someone whom I lost touch with, she was my other half we would obsess over Hanson (still do) and all things bright and happy. We hit some growing pains and drifted apart for reasons that no longer matter, but after 3 plus years and a 2 hour phone conversation it was time to reunite, so we made our sushi date
Ooo It's the sushi boat!!!
And decided we needed to have more time to catch up and we headed over to St johns town center in Jacksonville. First stop was Ulta. It was ungodly difficult to decide on what colors would make it unto the haul today, I had so much to chose from and a limited budget to play with. We went into Ulta and we wondered around I fell in love with lots of colors, a few stuck out to me, one was Orly's rock the world, I loved how the colors shifted I can see myself staring at my hands all day if I had that on. I also was obsessing over the hunger games collection from china glaze, but I *thought* sallys carried it and I get a discount there cause of the whole hair stylist thing I do. Here comes my best idea of the day. (heh) let's walk to sallys from Ulta in 95 degree weather it's only .08 miles away( I didn't mention I'm from Florida did I?)... Of course my friend had just as much faith in this idea as I did and agreed, we got lost several times stopping many stores in town center on the way one was a Betsey Johnson store that was going out of business and had the best dresses ( did I mention limited budget, ugh) but I digress we ventured more.. We walked right pass sallys.. Because, we are geniuses. I ended up calling asking where they were in relation to target. She laughed and said right next door. Well there we go, and no hunger games but I did end up picking up ruby pumps by china glaze, it's beautiful and I can't wait to wear it. After getting a few more supplies we headed back to Ulta after all my car was parked there -.- on the way back ( a much easier way back thanks to the girl at sallys for great way to cut thru) I glanced at the hot hot pavement and saw a 5... Three 5s... 15 dollars..HOT DAMN IM BUYING SOME POLISH!!! I ended up walking out of Ulta with these beauties...
Ulta - high roller

China glaze - hunger game minis
Luxe and lush

Fast track
Orly- rock the world
And here's the haul
The mani done with rock the world by orly <3 And luxe and lush on the accent nail
